Description
The area of rehabilitation technologies (TR) dedicates its functions to the research of technologies related to medical applications or destined to rehabilitation. The activities carried out can be divided into two types: A) Afferent interfaces. Those devices in charge of picking up signals of a certain nature and taking them to a central core of an electronic system. Within this type of interface, work is being carried out on the development of equipment for different purposes, capturing different kinds of signals: Acquisition of bioelectrical signals. Acquisition of biomechanical signals. Image recognition. Voice recognition. B) Efferent interfaces. Those that synthesize a series of signals in the device’s core and transmit them, in some way, to the outside. In this group of interfaces, we are currently developing devices focused on different types of stimulation: Functional electro-stimulation. Sensory stimulation. Sensory enhancement.Other information
