The Research Center in Bilingual Terminology, Specialized Translation and Contrastive Analysis [CITTAC] of the University of Valladolid is the continuation of the activity developed within the framework of the Research Institute in Bilingual Terminology and Specialized Translation [ITBYTE] until the academic year 2009- 2010.

CITTAC brings together researchers from UVa, The University of Ottawa (Canada) and the Food Quality Center, belonging to the National Institute for Agricultural and Food Research and Technology [INIA], involved in basic and applied research projects, with special interest in the study of the specialized lexicon of the main languages ​​of international scientific communication.

CITTAC carries out its main research as a member of the international group ACTRES, based at the University of León, as well as in different GIRs of the UVa.
