Description

The main goal of the Laboratory of Industrial Test of Castilla y León is to meet the needs of the small and medium-sized companies in the materials field, providing its technological services in the following fields: 
Analysis of various materials characteristics:
Chemical-structural properties:
- Infrared and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy.
- Microscopy: optical and scanning electron (SEM)
- Energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX).
- Fluroscopy and X-ray Tomography 
- Image analysis. 
Thermal properties:
- Determination of HDT and VICAT temperatures
- Thermal analysis (DSC, TMA, TGA and DMTA).
- Fluidity rate.
- Thermal conductivity, thermal spread and specific heat.
- Thermal expansion.   
Physical, mechanical, acoustic and behaviour to fire properties: 
- Density 
- Porousness 
- Stress-strain curve.
- Compression and bending test.
- Dynamical and mechanic analysis.
- A and D shore durometer.
- Strength
- Charpy, Izod impact test and stress-strain impact 
- Falling dart impact test.
- Fluency and recovery tests.
- Absorption and acoustic transmission
- Gross calorific value
- Oxygen rate. 
The laboratory is accredited by ENAC for testing. Technical advice in I+D+I project development Support in the quality area and product standardization Specific training in the materials field.
