Description
Search for materials and safe methods for hydrogen storage as an alternative fuel for vehicles. Nowadays, cars running with this gas do so using a deposit of high-pressure compressed gas. The official research group (GIR in its Spanish acronym) works with porous sponge-like materials, where hydrogen is injected to be later released. The aim is to find a material that allows to storage a larger amount of hydrogen safely, so that the autonomy of the vehicle increases.Other information
