Description
It is possible to carry out an exploration of a person to obtain their acoustic response through an array of acoustic sensors for a series of frequencies and specific positions. With this information and using advanced sorting techniques, GPA designs systems that allow to identify an extensive group of people and thus establish an innovative biometric system.Other information

Companies and markets:
Biometric system for the identification of an extensive group of people. Applicability in surveillance and tracking systems.
Advantages:
Low cost and non-intrusive biometric identification system. This is a configurable solution, scaleable and competitive. This innovative system can be made up by many MEMs type sensors (from 64 to thousands of sensors), with reduced cost (channel approximate cost: 10€).
Additional Information:
2016-2018 project framed in this line of investigation: acoustic system of array processing based on MEMS sensors of high dimensionality for acoustic biometrics and noise control and vibrations (ec2015-68170-r. MINECO). Group members, Alberto and Juan José, are development engineers with Labview certificate.
