Description
Acoustic system for detection and disposal of wood destroying insects (ES230268). The patented detection system allows to detect the existence of wood destroying insects in wood structures via acoustic procedures across the audio band 500Hz-20kHz, estimating their dimensional spatial position and removing them from the infected area. The system is based on the use of electronic beams across the audio band 500Hz-20kHz, both on transmission and reception. It is composed by an anechoic chamber, a rotating platform to place the object, a set of transmission transducers (a loudspeakers array), an amplification system, a pre-amplification system, an A/D digitization module, a D/A digitization module, a real time signal processing unit using a DSP, a computing unit and a software containing the required processing algorithms for proper functioning of the system.Other information
