Description
Due to social media success and current impact within Web 2.0, PARSE4U (Platform for Analytics and Research of Social Events) is a web application intented to gather Twitter users' involvement and main impressions regarding a particular event, campaign or user. This way, all data collected will be analysed and provided graphically to the application user, being possible to create a customized report on the monitoring. The document will present in a more detailed way PARSE4U Analytics' utility, the variety of users who can make the most of this tool, and its design and development process. PARSE4U povides users with all necessary means to: i) collect the contents created by interest communities; ii) identify their underlying knowledge; and iii) help interpreting that knowledge to use it adequately.Other information

Advantages:
Instead of using previous posts, PARSE4U analyses posts gathered from the beggining of the event or campaign to its end. Application users, both registered and unregistered, will be able to request the monitoring of certain time periods. That is to say, when suggesting the event or campaign to be captured, the user should select both the starting and the ending date for the monitoring. PARSE4U is intended not only as a capturing and analysis application, but also as an event monitoring portal, where all users could access the analyses of public monitoring.
