Description

Telematics and Image Group (GTI) is a multidisciplinary research group within the Recognized Research Group (GIR) Information Society of the University of Valladolid.

The mission of the GTi is to contribute and promote research in the fields of Artificial Vision, e-Health, e-Learning and Intelligent Transportation Systems through the study, development and application of Information Technology and ICT Telecommunications and HPC High Performance Computing.

The GTI is mainly channeled in three main lines:

  • Serious Games for Physical and / or Cognitive Rehabilitation. Use of the latest technologies and devices to create disability rehabilitation tools or promote active aging (virtual and augmented reality, natural user interfaces, ...).
  • Intelligent Systems for Driving Safety. Development of systems for driver monitoring through the Kinect device and wireless biological sensors of the Shimmer platform. Also, simulation of driving scenarios based on the Unity games engine with which to analyze driving safety and efficiency.
  • Mobile and Web Applications especially in the Medical Field. Ad-hoc application development.
