Description

The FabLab (Fabrication Laboratory) is a production space on a personal scale, which brings together cutting-edge machinery and technology in advanced manufacturing for the development of functional prototypes and R & D & I.

This FabLab is created with the objective of supporting and encouraging the development of products destined to materialize research results of end-of-degree, master's or doctoral thesis projects.

  • 3D PRINT:       
    • Creality Ender 3: The Creality Ender 3 3D Printer allows ideas and prototypes to be brought to life by means of single-extruder 3D FDM printing technology to create small plastic parts in PLA and ABS in an easy and simple way.
    • Creality CR10S. Creality CR-10S 3D printer allows ideas and prototypes to be brought to life through single-extruder 3D FDM printing technology to create plastic parts in PLA and ABS with fantastic finishes. In addition, its large size allows generating parts up to 300 x 300 x 400 mm. Available 2 units.
    • BCN3D Sigma R19. The Sigma R19 of BCN3D allows you to create impossible parts with the FDM 3D printing technology of two extruders, either combining different materials or colors. Make duplicates, mirrors and everything with the best finish.
    • Ultimaker 3. High-end 3D printer that uses two-extruder 3D FDM printing technology to create parts combining different materials and colors. You can print pieces up to 215 x 215 x 200 mm.
    • FORMLABS Form 2. The best 3D printer on the market with SLA technology, Form 2 offers high-resolution parts and features that biomedical can achieve, making use of 3D printing by stereolithography.
    • Delta WASP 4070. Industrial Printer that allows to print large volumes thanks to its work area of ​​Ø400 x h 700 mm as well as with a great variety of plastic materials.
  • 2D LASER:
    • KKmoon Automatic K5. Mini laser cutter and engraver that has a source of 3,000 watts sufficient to perform work on cardboard, wood, plastics and leather.
    • Universal Laser Systems. Industrial CNC laser cutting and engraving VLS6.60 you can obtain parts in methacrylate, cardboard, DM, anodized aluminum and soft metals with amazing precision and in a very short time. It has a work surface of 813 x 457 x 229 mm and a 10.6 µm CO2 laser source with a power of 60 watts.
  • CNC MACHINING:
    • XINRUI TECHNOLOGY. 3-axis machining machine for cutting and engraving of wood, acrylics, PVC, PCB, etc. It has a work area of ​​240 x 180 x 40 mm, enough for small jobs that do not require a great complexity of machining.
    • Roland MDX-40A. In the professional range, the MDX-40A milling machine allows you to create 3D prototypes of plastic materials, wood, ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), delrin, nylon, acrylics and modeling boards. Able to make numerous industrial and creative applications, such as prototypes of products, parts of pressure closure, 3D molds and prints, covers of electrical parts, electronic PCBs, etc.
    • CNC Industrial Santander. For metal, wood or plastic machining, the Santander industrial CNC milling machine with a 1.9 KW mandrel and a 1400x1000 slotted aluminum table is the best option.

  • 3D SCANNER:
