Description

OBJECTIVES
• - Generate theoretical and practical models for integrating current architectural systems into the landscapes of the past.

- Create lines of experimentation in the area of ​​heritage and landscape protection, understood as a cultural element.

- Define models of study and interpretation of ancient architecture, understood in its landscape context, from its conception to its constructive materiality.

- Create knowledge transfer procedures in the field of architectural and cultural landscapes.

- Inquire about the concept of Cultural Landscape as a contemporary system.

- Expand the relationships of architecture with other disciplines: archeology, art history, geography, landscaping, engineering, etc.

- Create a framework to support third cycle research.

- Promote the approach to research in students through collaboration grants associated with projects or contracts (according to art. 83).

- Involve the administrations, institutions and companies related to the integration of the heritage in the landscape in the investigation, through the achievement of the contracts made under art. 83.

- Be part of a network of groups and collaborating research centers on the subjects described through interrelated work, courses and meetings.
