Description

is configured as a structure of the University of Valladolid for the articulation of research activity, mainly referring to the following lines of research:
a) Ecologies of learning in contexts of expanded education and cultural diversity.
b) Construction of citizenship by children and youth and processes of political subjectivation oriented to the commons.
c) Mediation processes (ideological and historical policy, technological media and digital, social and cultural) developed in formal education, lifelong learning and community development.
d) Implications of the modern / colonial capitalist / patriarchal world-system in the field of school and higher education institutions.
e) Initial and permanent teacher training.

The Group's objectives are:
a) Study processes of conformation of citizenship and cultural innovation, based on the creation of shared knowledge, new forms of literacy and the stimulation of political participation.
b) Analyze the role of hyperconnected societies in shaping learning environments characterized by participation, collaboration and connectivity.
c) Develop social research projects oriented to the study of cultural mediations from an ecological perspective, and with special attention to the educational field and community intervention.
d) Implementing dialogical and horizontal methodological strategies for qualitative research, deepening the use of ethnographic tools and discourse analysis within the framework of techno-digital mediations.
e) Participate in training processes at the undergraduate, master's and doctoral level, with special emphasis on the research lines mentioned above
f) Guarantee a mentoring training structure that allows new members of the group to start both in the research processes developed by the group, and in the design, development, production and dissemination of their academic and scientific work.
g) Direct doctoral work within the lines of the research group
