Description
The offered service is framed within our main research line regarding the search for new biofuels as possible substitutes for traditional fossil fuels in the production of thermal energy. Our research group can make quantitative determinations of vegetable oils' chemical composition using high resolution Nuclear Magnetic Resonance. For this purpose, a preliminary study on the optimization of the acquisition parameters (number of scans, pulse angle, relaxation times, etc.) is conducted. Subsequently, the data obtained is analyzed in order to quantify, obtain the distribution of the oil fatty acids in the glyceric skeleton and study the relationship between the chemical composition of vegetable oils and their behavior in the combustion process.Other information
