The contributions of this work line to the guidance of tractors are the following: Study on control laws for the guidance of tractors using GPS economical receivers. Development of a new control law for the GPS guidance of tractors. Procedure to improve in a simple way the accuracy of the GPS guidance of tractors. Collaboration with the company Tractordrive, which offers GPS self-guidance systems for tractors since 2016.

Advantages:

The Tractordrive company offers commercial GPS self-guidance systems for tractors that allow the vehicule to make equispaced passes showing only centimeter errors. These systems also facilitate that, from year to year, the distance between two passes only differs a few centimeters. Currently, the system is based on the latest generation of Android tablets. Therefore, it is an economical and versatile guidance system, with a simple and intuitive interface, which includes zoom as well as 2D and 3D representation.
