Description

The technological offer of the DIMEPRO Research Group consists of: 1. Risk management: given the growing trend of companies towards outsourcing, as well as the globalization of the world economy, the risk control in the processes is essential, and a risk assessment method in the supply chain management has been developed. 2. Lean manufacturing: collaboration with different companies and consulting firms in the development of tools and methods for process improvement by eliminating waste and non-value-added operations in the region’s companies. Training jointly given with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Valladolid, the College of Engineers. 3. Logistics and sustainable mobility: coordinated management of the flows of materials, people and information from the origin point, through the transformation of components and raw materials, to the delivery of final products and services to customers by improving processes and developing specific applications, taking into account environmental sustainability and social responsibility. 4. Job design: people (who are the most important asset of a company), must adjust to the jobs and the jobs to the people. For this reason, it is important to have tools and/or methodologies to assess people's attitudes/competences in order to be able to adjust and adapt them in a gradual and non-traumatic way, without forgetting the assessment and ergonomic improvement of the posts. 5. Competitive intelligence: development of a unique and proven methodology in different companies to address key aspects, such as knowledge management, technology watch, results analysis and decision-making. 6. Improvement of production processes: the aim is to improve the quality, productivity and efficiency of production processes through the knowledge and experience accumulated in other research lines and, in particular, through the use of simulation as a key tool for assessing different practical alternatives available.
