It is to be noted the SRC (Spanish acronym for Communication Services and Networks) group's work regarding the application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques to data manipulation/processing/mining/prediction within various fields, including context-awareness, Smart Energy Grid, Semantic Web, video surveillance and sensors.

The group has extensive experience participating in research programmes funded at national and European levels. In the EU Framework Programme, the group was a member of the comprehensive ICEBERGS, MEDIANET and SATSIX projects, and the technical coordinator of the OPUCE project as well. Moreover, SRC has developed research projects within the European Space Agency, Eureka-Celtic, ETSI and some national programmes.
