Description

OBJECTIVES
• Group objectives:
* Obtain the necessary financing for its continuous maintenance
* Training of associate members or scholarship holders and research contractors, through the completion of Doctoral Theses
* Maturity in the research career of the group, through new research projects, scientific publications and patents, attendance at conferences, relations with partners
* Establish contact with companies for the development of joint applied research projects
* Advance the investigation of open lines and the opening of new ones, as a result of research projects

RESEARCH LINES
• Machine learning, statistical learning, algorithm applied to different industries: telecommunications, energy / smart grid, agriculture
• Telecommunications services over IP networks: VoIP and personal multimedia communications (NGN / IMS), quality of service (QoS / QoE), applicability to wireless environments (eg satellite), context-based intelligent converged services
• ICT strategy (and economics)
