Description
Spectroscopic techniques are used in supersonic flows, where a gas mixture expands suddenly in a high-vacuum chamber to obtain molecular rotation spectra. The spectrum offers direct data on all possible polar components in the gas mixture. Moreover, the spectral analysis provides all data needed to obtain the molecular shape accurately. This technique is a reference method to study the structure of small-medium (less than 40 atoms) molecules from whatever source, and it provides contrastable experimental data to certify the quality of the theoretical methods.Other information
