Description

Objectives

The Recognized Research Group is configured as a fundamental structure of the University of Valladolid for the articulation of the research activity, mainly referred to the following lines of research:(a) Synthesis of new organic and inorganic compounds.
b) Characterization of the new molecules synthesized, through the application of spectroscopic techniques and structural determination techniques by X-ray diffraction.
c) Study of the reactivity of the new molecules.
d) Study of supramolecular interactions.
e) Practical applications of spectroscopic, diffraction and microscopy techniques for the characterization of materials and their behavior.

The objectives of the Group are:

(a)Development of new organic and inorganic compounds. Introduction of chirality.
b)Synthesis of compounds with suitable structure to study their supramolecular interactions as sensors or molecule receptors.
c) Development of new species of nanometric size to be studied as chromophores in energetic and pharmaceutical applications.
d) Use of transition metal complexes in the preparation of nanoparticles with special properties.
