Description

For some people, taking medication is a daily need. Despite that, they sometimes forget to take the pills. To prevent this from happening and that people's health suffers, we have developed Dose Alarm. Dose Alarm is a software product available for mobile devices (smartphones and tablets, mostly), especially for those powered by the Android operating system. The purpose of this application is to help people remember the intake of their prescribed medication, making it easier. This application includes a series of configurable options that makes it more interesting and attractive to the targeted segment of customers. In so doing, the user will be able to know what and when to take their medication in an easier and simpler way. One can turn the reminder on using their mobile device, by choosing a vibrating and/or an acoustic alarm (sound selected among the ones available on the device). This way, it is customized according to the user's needs. These alarms are the registers that allow the user to identify one intake and are introduced into the system through a questionnaire. Besides adding basic data (ID name, number of intakes, starting date, etc.), it is possible to attach a representative image to each alarm, which can be useful for the user.
