Description

SADChem is a low-cost portable potentiostat to make electro-analyses. The device is confifgured to carry out five types of voltammetries: fixed voltammetry, linear sweep voltammetry, step sweep voltammetry, linear cyclic voltammetry and square wave voltammetry. The physics device can be divided into two parts. On the one hand, the part regarding the electrodes and, on the other hand, the part corresponding to the control and the tools. SADChem includes only the working electrode, which was designed to reduce the time spent changing it over. SADChem includes all tools and controls, both regarding hardware design and software programming, needed to complete the user's desired experience.

Advantages:

Well positioned when comparing features, clearly labelled as a low-cost product but not too far technically from its market competence. The development of this low-cost potentionstat aims at producing devices on a budget that are versatile enough to generate standard waveforms. In so doing, we expect to significantly increase the use of electrochemistry in contexts with limited resources (schools, teaching centers, reseach groups with limited resources).
