Description

We have developed a software tool that allows the user to withdraw from learning LaTeX language and to write a document without needing any command. This software, called LaTeX Office, is an office software suite for document editing and mathematical equations. It falls under the category of productivity applications and is mainly intended for the general public aiming at writing documents in the LaTeX typewritting system without using complex commands. LaTeX Office is an office software suite such as Microsoft Office. Within LaTeX Office, the following computer applications can be distinguished: • LaTeX Office Writer is a LaTeX documents editor similar to Microsoft Word. It allows to create and modify documents using a graphic interface without needing LaTeX complex commands. • LaTeX Office Math is a mathematical equations editor that uses LaTeX typewritting system to create and manipulate high quality equations more easily.

Advantages:

The most innovative aspect of LaTeX Office is that it includes a series of technologies that other market tools, such as Microsoft Office, do not. These technologies are user-friendly, as they do not require to be configured and are automatically activated when starting the program. LaTeX technologies are, among others, the following: - A mechanism that allows to zip in a single cabinet file all auxiliary files from the created document. - It allows to code using AES 128 the document content to prevent non-authorized people from reading them. Moreover, it offers a non-authorized copy protection system for digital documents. - It includes AI algorithms to assist the user in achieving a better document DTP. - It saves incremental backups of the documents that are edited transparently to the user. - It is possible to automatically replace abbreviations for complete words, increasing writing speed.
