Description

Doctorate in Vision Sciences.

Training in research and university teaching aimed at graduates derived from degrees in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Physics, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Statistics, the former Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial and Electronics, and degrees in Optics and Optometry and Nursing.

University master's degrees.

Advanced training for ophthalmology physicians, and health and research professionals (attached). Includes:

Master's Degree in Research in Vision Sciences.
Master's Degree in Ophthalmological Subspecialties.
Master's Degree in Visual Rehabilitation.
Master's Degree in Ophthalmological Nursing.

Ongoing training and research seminars.

Impartation of different courses and seminars in optics and ophthalmology:

Glaucoma course.
Wetlab course.
Good clinical practice course.
Theoretical and practical ocular pathological anatomy course.
Customized training, courses and/or lectures.

Rotation and short stay program (PREC, by its Spanish acronym).

Designed for any professional interested in enhancing their professional skills through a specialized immersion at the IOBA through a custom-made program that includes professional practice (observation in the case of not being qualified for the profession in our country) and custom training.

Business Chairs.

The IOBA, as a university institute, participates in the development of business chairs as one of the instruments that allows to improve the collaboration between universities and companies. By means of common management and collaboration mechanisms, business chairs have become one of the best ways to strengthen university-company collaboration from the training and research perspective in different sectors. The promoted chairs are: Alcon Chair, Esteve Chair, Novartis Chair, Topcon Chair, Zeiss Chair.
