Description

Objectives

The purpose of this GIR is to advance in the knowledge of assessment and treatment strategies in different neuro-musculoskeletal pathologies through the application of Health Sciences, as well as to promote and guarantee the health of the population.

The general objective is to analyze the procedures used by multidisciplinary teams in Health Sciences to reverse or attenuate the main clinical manifestations of neuro-musculoskeletal pathologies.

As specific objectives:
  • - Contribute to the scientific development of new assessment and treatment techniques in dysfunctions addressed by Health Sciences.
  • - To evaluate the effects of manual and instrumental techniques applied to different age groups.
  • - To evaluate the effects of active procedures applied to chronic pathologies.
  • - To investigate new procedures of tele-assistance, tele-rehab and tele-physiotherapy.
  • - Research on different aspects that seek to guarantee and promote people's health and well-being.
