The purpose of the group is to deepen the Hispanic-American reality from various perspectives and approaches. The objectives set respond to the research lines of the group members:

a) To know the operation and protagonists of the system of obtaining fiscal, political and government positions, as well as the benefit of places in the American Hearings for money, deepening the mechanisms of the sale and the benefit.

b) Deepen the relationships established by emigrants to the New World with their families through the information provided by civil lawsuits.

c) To propose the follow-up of the diverse policies of geographical discoveries and incorporation of the American territories through the critical analysis of the cartographic documents.

d) Promote the dissemination of results.
