Description

OBJECTIVES:

The group studies the relationship between semantics and pragmatics and the fundamental question today about whether the semantics of natural language is compositional or not.

SCIENTIFIC OBJECTIVES:

Compositionality of natural language
Delimitation of the border between semantics and pragmatics
Pragmatic aspects that affect the interpretation of the statements
Contrasting semantic and pragmatic theories
Underdetermination of natural language
Free enrichment
Relationship between mind and language
Compositionality of the language of the mind

DISSEMINATION OBJECTIVES:

Publish articles and scientific works with the results of the investigations carried out.
Organize scientific events for research and dissemination of the group's research lines.
Attend conferences and scientific events related to the group's research lines.
