Description

OBJECTIVES:
The group was formed in 1990. Since then, its main purpose has been to:
a): the creation of a competitive research team at national and international level,
b): the development of research projects financed with national, regional and European funds,
c): the training of young doctors and researchers in the framework of the research projects carried out and
d): the publication of research results in international journals with a high impact index.

The group has extensive experience in managing research funds. Likewise, the numerous research projects granted to our research group over the years, and the high number of publications that the work team has generated attest to its stability.

Main objectives:
  • The development of new synthetic methodologies in Organic Chemistry making use of organosilicon and organotin compounds.
  • The application of these synthetic methods in the stereoselective construction of mono- and polycyclic systems of different size and structure.
  • The design of new routes of stereo- and enantioselective synthesis of Natural Products of biological interest.
