Description

OBJECTIVES
• Carry out studies on the structure and function of the nervous system. In addition, we will study the processes of neurodegeneration, neuronal and glial plasticity and neuroregeneration, as well as the development of biocompatible prostheses and implants for the repair of injured nervous tissue.

RESEARCH LINES
• Studies of the interaction of psychotropic drugs and neurotransmitters
• Development of biocompatible prostheses for the repair of injured nerves
• Neuronal plasticity in the olfactory pathway
