Description

OBJECTIVES
The research group in "Electronic Design, Power Electronics and Renewable Energies (DEEPER)" integrates researchers who work in: 
(a) electronic power converters applied to various fields such as wind and photovoltaic generation, transmission of high electrical energy and low voltage, variable speed drives, battery chargers, etc., 
(b) real-time simulation of plants and controllers, and 
(c) development of electronic systems based on microprocessors and reconfigurable devices applied to control and simulation.

Its members try to achieve the following objectives in the aforementioned areas:
a) Generation of new knowledge in the field of power electronics and electronic design.
b) Dissemination of this knowledge through the preparation of publications and patents, participation in conferences, maintenance of web pages, etc.
c) Promote relationships with institutions and companies.
d) Generation of economic resources to improve the research infrastructure.
e) Collaborate in the training of undergraduate, master and doctoral students.
