OBJECTIVES:

Its members try to carry out research and development tasks with the following objectives:
- Contribute to the development of knowledge in those subjects of interest to the members of the group.
- Develop systems that apply the advances made in the research carried out.
- Promote collaboration with companies and institutions that facilitate research and development tasks, generating the transfer of knowledge to society.
- Promote the use of information and communication technologies, as well as new learning techniques in teaching.

-Compression, Indexing and Applications on Big Data Collections.
-Semantic Web. Legal Information Systems. Privacy.
-Pervasive Computing. Mobile Computing. Distributed systems.
-Modeling and simulation of biological systems.
-Computer Forensics.
-Research in Software Engineering, mainly Empirical Software Engineering, Software   Quality and Data Quality, Technical Debt, Refactoring, Smells Detection and   Prioritization.
