Description

M-UVA metrology / manufacturing is a R + D + i service from the University of Valladolid to companies around the field of manufacturing and metrology, in which quality is an objective and an inalienable responsibility for all staff.

LINES OF INVESTIGATION:
  • Dimensional metrology, force and torque, mass, acoustics.
Service to the industry and to R + D + i calibration and measurement centers in the areas of activity. Laboratory accredited by ENAC as Calibration and Testing Laboratory (according to UNE-EN ISO / IEC 17025). Intercomparisons and study of assurance processes.
Main researcher: Francisco Javier Santos Martín

  • Manufacturing by chip removal and monitoring. Influence of the manufacturing process in service behavior.
Study of chip start-up processes using advanced experimental techniques for their optimization.

Analysis of shear forces, vibratory level, noise level, wear, high speed thermography.

Analysis and diagnosis of the incidence of the manufacturing process on the behavior in service.
Main researchers: Manuel San Juan Blanco and Óscar Martín Llorente

  • Industrial ergonomics and production. Technological application in the biomedical field.
Ergonomics applied both to industry and to other sectors of activity.
Preventive ergonomics.
Dissemination of good ergonomic habits.
Biomechanical studies and analysis of workers.
Biomodeling and 3D modeling applied to the pre-surgical study.
Main researcher: Manuel San Juan Blanco
