Aims of the Chair

Development of research, organization of symposiums and congresses, dissemination and publication, specialized teaching, professional advice and development of scientific, technical or artistic works within the framework of Art. 83 of the Organic Law of Universities.

The Juan de Villanueva Chair (CJdV) is configured as an operative instrument to achieve, individually or collectively, the goals proposed by its members.

Social and economic interest

The Chair fulfills the social interest of knowledge transfer between the University and the different Administrations, Companies and Civil Society in general. Its economic resources come from the activities developed within its purposes. It may also obtain financial resources through contributions, donations or grants from individuals, companies and public institutions.
