Description

The augmentative communication system proposed by the LEB is a device that allows the disabled user to control a personal computer. To that end, the afferent interface of biomechanical signals acquisition has been applied and, through winks detection, the user can control computer's mouse and keyboard interacting with it. Moreover, more functionalities have been included in the developed software that enable the development of more home automation control functionalities or training in the adapted wheelchair control.

The implemented augmentative communication system is able to use a computer with a virtual mouse and keyboard. Besides, additional tools have been implemented in this system as the training for the use of adapted wheelchairs or the home automation control for people with severe motor disabilities.
