Description

Nowadays, the catering industry increasingly needs a versatile and specific type of furniture. Contract furniture offers a wide functionality, and we have delimited its several tipology applications by designing a single or two-seats furniture which allows to chat and have a drink or a snack outside the dining room. A single object can provide both tables and chairs by transforming it accordingly to the needs of the moment. The seat is entirely made of certified wood from sustainable forest management and comply with the following requirements: 1. Comfortable, with a backrest and an adequate seat height. 2. It includes a place to put glasses and even plates. 3. Excellent stability. 4. Light, which makes its transportation easier. 5. It has a binder system that allows to connect two or more seats. 6. Suitable for outdoors. 7. Pleasant and light esthetics, appropriate for a terrace area. 8. In line with today's furniture market trends. 9. It has an innovative or distintive feature. 10. Possibility of producing an entire furniture line following this design. The inspiration comes mostly from simple geometric shapes, starting point for the development of the idea. The chair is composed of two triangular modules, one for the seat and another for the backrest. Geometric shapes evolve towards a much more esthetic and pleasing appearance, resulting in two round profiles created through tangent lines.
