OBJECTIVES

PURPOSE OF THE GROUP:

The consolidation of the 7 lines of research in which they are already developing their activities (without prejudice to the opening of new lines that are relevant in the group's research areas)

OBJECTIVES:
Approach and, where appropriate, propose social education programs related to the research work being carried out: since all of them are currently having a high socio-health impact.

Publish the results derived from the proposed actions (through scientific publications, scientific presentations at conferences or other scientific forums).

Investigate the convergence fields of the group's knowledge subjects.

RESEARCH LINES
• Effects of different nutrients (and functional foods) on the immune system
• Obesity: genetics, immunology and psychological approach
• History and Science of Nutrition
• Effects of stress and anxiety on the immune system
• Diet, nutrition and psychological support in chronic genetic diseases (X-fragile syndrome and cystic fibrosis)
• Immunogenetics and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
• Study of polymorphism and mutations in monogenic genetic diseases
