Description

Funge, created in 1996, is in charge of managing various university departments and infrastructures in order to effectively promote the relationship between the University, society and companies. from your environment.

FUNGE's Innovation Department functions as the OTRI of the University and from here initiatives are promoted and we offer services for researchers from the university community in general and companies.

Our purpose is to facilitate the approach and collaboration between the two in R & D & i.

In Innovation you will find the necessary support, from the generation of the project idea to its completion. All for a clear objective: the promotion, transfer and profitability of the knowledge and knowledge of the University of Valladolid (UVa) in relation to society.

We help attract, negotiate and manage contracts between the University of Valladolid and companies (Articles 83) to develop new and innovative products, services and procedures that benefit society.

For this, the Innovation Unit is organized into different Units:
  • Knowledge Transfer Unit-Company (TCUE)
  • European Projects Office (OPEUVa)
  • Patents and Software
  • Fablab

In short, the Innovation Unit supports the search for financing lines, advises on the drafting of contracts and agreements and deals with the economic and administrative management of research projects at the University of Valladolid. In addition, this type of collaboration provides entities with access to equipment and infrastructure and interaction with researchers.

Also, Funge belongs to the PI + D + i Network, an initiative promoted by the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI). We inform companies and researchers about the financing instruments that best suit the needs of their R + D + i project.
