Description

OBJECTIVES
• The fundamental objective of the MoBiVAP Group is the fusion of the information on 2D and 3D supports of geometric and radiometric characteristics of static and dynamic type, applied to Heritage and the kinematics of movement, with special attention to Architecture / Urbanism and behavior analysis humans. This general objective is specified in:

a) Development of mathematical tools for Modeling, Analysis and Visualization, with special attention to Heritage and Civil Engineering.
b) Surveying techniques and technologies for conservation and restoration, cataloging and inventory or multimedia dissemination of information relating to movable and immovable property.
c) Integration of techniques from 2d digital photogrammetry and optical-geometric models, Computational Vision and Computer Graphics on a 3d support provided by 3d laser devices
d) Design and implementation of software for 2d / 3 data structures, algorithms for the automatic extraction of primitives in Architecture and Vision (geometric and radiometric), and their integration in 3d models.
e) Information Systems for buildings and urban environments: Inventories, supports for spatial analysis, planning and decision-making assistants, automated applications (generation of reports, thematic maps) and scientific visualization modules for the interactive presentation and management of said information .
f) Design and implementation of software for Computational Vision applications in the analysis and treatment of static images and video sequences in scenarios with dynamic information, with special attention to modeling and recognition in traffic scenes and human kinematics.
