Description

Hardware performance assessment. Increase of benefits through parallel programming. The work lines where this activity takes place are the following: memory hierarchies, cache memories, supercomputing, coherence protocols for shared memory in multiprocessors and multichip multicores, synchronization in parallel programming of shared memory and design of new processors for block execution (transactional hardware).
