Objectives

1. To deepen the knowledge of the different materials in which this group has been researching.
2. To train postgraduates through the realization of their doctoral thesis in our fields of interest.
3. To attend to the needs of small and medium enterprises, mainly in the sectors of cellular materials, polymers, food and historical heritage.
4. To increase knowledge about ancient cultures and heritage conservation through Materials Science.

Cellular materials: fabrication, structure, properties and applications.
2. Sensors for the food sector and organoleptic characterization of foodstuffs.
3. Organic semiconductors and conductive polymers: chemical-physical characterization.
4. Physical-chemical characterization of historical heritage materials. Archaeometric studies. Development of new technologies and materials for the study and preservation of historical heritage.
5. Archaeometry: Characterization and preservation of historical heritage.
6. Synthesis, characterization and applications of polymeric materials, mixtures and composites.
7. Bio-based and biodegradable materials.
8. Intelligent materials.
