Description

Engineering of mobility services and technologies: Service Oriented Architecture/Software as a Service (SOA/SaaS), virtualization middleware, multimedia and satellite communication protocols as well as new information and communication technologies applied to mobility. Semantic web: Multidisciplinary application of semantic technologies for knowledge management. Traffic engineering: Provision of service/experience quality in various types of networks (wireless, satellite, etc.).

The group has extensive experience participating in research programmes funded at national and European levels. In the EU Framework Programme, the group was a member of the comprehensive ICEBERGS, MEDIANET and SATSIX projects, and the technical coordinator of the OPUCE project as well. Moreover, SRC has developed research projects within the European Space Agency, Eureka-Celtic, ETSI and some national programmes.
