Description

This technological offer applies microwave and ultrasound equipment to the extraction processes of raw materials and waste, e.g. essential oils of aromatic plants, wine polyphenol, natural pigments, β-glucans and barley and oatmeal proteins.

Other data (last five years: 3 European projects (SHYMAN, DoHIP and WINESENSE), 10 national projects in Spain, 4 competitive reseach projects at regional level and 18 research agreements with private entities. More than 100 papers have been published in renowned scientific journals and more than 120 have been presented in congresses and symposia at national and international levels. Two patents have been granted, 19 PhD theses have been defended, 17 of which obtained an European mention, and more than 13 Master's theses.
