Description

This Recognized Research Group is based on one of the international and European precepts related to the world of education and training, lifelong learning. Already a motto in the world of professions, it has given a twist to the conception of human capital, the value of which is nowadays strongly demanded from every individual for his insertion and integration in the labor market. From its multiple edges, and from the emergence of focuses of attention derived from the millennium objectives, challenges emerge that we assume -proactively- from Higher Education. We inscribe them in the three vertices of the triangle of knowledge education/training - research - innovation, and we articulate them in the following OBJECTIVES:

- To pay attention to the potential of the concept of professional qualifications for the approaches of the horizon.
- To look for convergences around the factors of training, professional insertion and integration, permanence and progress in the job.
- Identify key elements for career guidance and counseling, within any continuous professional development process.
- To open ways to institutionalize the recognition, validation and accreditation of acquired professional competencies and to establish mechanisms for balancing competencies according to career paths.
- To develop strategic lines that respond to the needs of innovation and social entrepreneurship, with effects both on the professional and on the institution where he/she performs his/her tasks.
- Contribute with our projects in favor of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
