Description

DESIGN AND REDESIGN SERVICE

One of our strengths is the design of prototypes for different areas of the university community such as researchers and students. These prototypes are designed to be functional since later the vast majority have been manufactured by means of 3d printing in different materials.

In addition, it also offers the redesign and adaptation of existing models that do not accommodate the required working conditions. These redesigns can be done from an existing 3d model or make use of the 3d scanner. Through 3d scanning we can digitize the parts that need modifications.

Some examples that have been carried out in the facilities are:

Lightening of a housing for a small camera installed on a drone. In addition, this case required that it be flexible to be able to insert the device.
Adaptation of a laser support for a spectroscopy research line.
Geolocation devices for animal control.
