Description

Within this research line, the official excellence research group (GIR/GREX in its Spanish acronym) undertakes projects regarding the development of terminological dictionaries, such as the Multilingual (English, French, German and Spanish) Terminological Dictionary of Molecular Genetics, to be implemented at the Eurogene portal (European Genetics Foundation), or the Multilingual (English, French, German and Spanish) Terminological Dictionary of Medical Oncology, yet to be started. Those dictionaries, developed for an online use and in several digital media, are constantly updated. This research line, related to the Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and composed by terminologists, linguists and telecommunication engineers, represents a support for teachers, as it is also implemented on the Moodle learning platform, and for experts in these fields.

Additional Information:

The project for the development of the Multilingual (English, French, German and Spanish) Terminological Dictionary of Molecular Genetics (2011-2013) was joined by several European researchers from the universities of West Timisoara (Rumania), Artois (France) and Friedrich Schiller in Jena (Germany).
