Description

Research line that also covers others like traductography and missionary lexicography and the electronic cataloguing of works and translators. The main goal is to make known via internet the lexicography and traductologic legacy of the monastic orders for eight hundred years, like the Spanish and Latin-American Augustinians and Franciscans, already prepared, or the Dominicans (ongoing). The catalogues and their study are available through the Monastic Translation Web. The goal of the official reseach group (GIR in its Spanish acronym) is to keep advancing in the development of terminology dictionaries of other high social interest matters and for productive sectors (for example, renewable energies), develop new educational innovation experiences and expand the translators’ historic catalogues, always available via Internet, which causes that potential sectors of interest are open to variations. In the same way, ITNT performs a render of special services of translation and interpretating (SETI), through FUNGE of UVA.
